The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has opened technicals bids submitted by Indian firms for the contract Package PC-01 and PC-02 of Patna Metro Rail project.
On 11 June 2020, DMRC opened technical bids for the tender called for the construction of a 6.107 km section between Mahahi Pakri – New ISBT. This section is part of 17.95 km Corridor 2 of the Patna Metro Rail project that will connect Patna Railway Station to New ISBT through 14 metro stations.
According to information shared by the DMRC, five Indian firms have submitted their bids for the construction of elevated viaducts and five stations (Malai Pakri, Khemni Chak, Bhoothnath, Zero Mile & New ISBT) for which tender was called in the last week of February 2020 (Package PC-01).
The firms that submitted bids are NCC Limited, GR Infraprojects Limited, Dineshchandra R. Agrawal Infracon Private Limited, Sam (India) Builtwell Private Limited, and SP Singla Constructions Private Limited. As per DMRC, the estimated tender value is Rs 514.924 crore.
Similarly, on 9 June 2020, technical bids were opened for the tender (Package PC-02) called for the construction of the New ISBT Depot of Patna Metro Rail project in April 2020.
A total of seven Indian firms namely URC Construction Private Limited, Sam (India) Builtwell Private Limited, Dineshchandra R. Agrawal Infracon Private Limited, Lisha Engineers Private Limited, Pinax Steel Industries Private Limited, Quality Buildcon Private Limited, and YFC Projects Private Limited have participated in contract Package PC-02. As per DMRC, the estimated value of work is Rs 172.18 crore.
The New ISBT Depot will serve the entire route of 31 km long Phase 1 network of the project which consists of two corridors.
