The following is a look at some historic 'Philippine National Railway' publicity that include the former Alstom built 1500 class.
All come from the collection of 'Gorio Belen' and we thank him for his continued support of Philippine railway history. As for the class, ten members were built (1501-1510), and reports suggest that they were problematic, especially in the braking department. All members were scrapped before my first visit in 1999.Attempts to obtain further information from Alstom has gone ignored thus far.
