Buses will replace trains on the Craigieburn line for the next nine days as part of the Glenroy level crossing removal.
Trains will be replaced between Newmarket/Flemington Racecourse and Craigieburn from 8.15pm on Tuesday, April 6 until 8.15pm on Friday, April 9.
Buses will operate between North Melbourne and Craigieburn from 8.15pm Friday, April 9 until the last service on Sunday, April 11.
Buses will then replace trains between Essendon and Craigieburn from the first service on Monday, April 12 until the last service on Thursday April 15.
The level crossing works will include crews digging out soil and rock underneath Glenroy Road to remove the level crossing and build a new Glenroy station ramp.
The project will also deliver a new Glenroy Station and station precinct.
Buses will also replace trains on the Seymour and Shepparton lines over the next two weeks.
Buses will be replacing Seymour trains from 9.30pm on Tuesday, April 6 until the last service on Thursday, April 15.
Shepparton line trains will be replaced by coaches from the first service on Wednesday, April 7 until the last service on Saturday, April 17.
Crews will complete level crossing surface renewals, bridge repairs, track maintenance, mud hole removal, culvert works, signal upgrades and repairs to some platforms.
Stage two of the Shepparton line upgrade will also be completed.
