Statement from Ixion Model Railways Ltd
Today, I woke up and made a decision- I will no longer model the D&H.
What has recently taken my interest is the high-speed trains of Europe, so from now on I will model those. I plan to expand my layout on either end to make high-speed return loops, allowing me to run trains at scale speeds of 500 MPH. A couple walls may have to come down, but that’s alright. After all, I really want those return loops! I can’t believe I haven’t thought of this idea before. I mean really, high-speed trains are so much more awesome than the D&H.
This decision doesn’t come lightly though. I plan to continue modeling the D&H for exactly one more year. Next year, on April 1st, I will make the change… -Harrison, who hopes you don’t take this too seriously…
