Sri Lanka Railways is planning to operate a “Heritage” train consisting of four wooden coaches between Kandy and Ella railway stations.
These 4 coaches will be made out of wood with a steel frame structure. Chief Engineer Mechanical and Project Director of Sri Lanka Railways, Keerthi Hewavitharana said the train service will be available.
