There are more changes for V/Line travellers between Melbourne and northern central Victoria.
Coaches will temporarily replace all trains on the Bendigo-Echuca route from October 6, to allow signal testing and driver training for the fast rail project.
V/Line's customer services manager, Margot Dickie, says there will be a mix of express, semi-express and stopping coaches to meet the needs of passengers.
"We believe that we've covered most services as best we can," she said.
"We do really appreciate that people have stuck with us during these upgrade works.
"But what we're looking forward to is when they are complete and that we get back to a normal and even better service."
