Independent parcel delivery company, Direct Freight Express (DFE), has opened its newest depot in Gosford, NSW, bringing its national number of depots to 42.
The depot opening in Gosford is the company's tenth depot in the last 12 months to join the DFE network.
According to DFE Managing Director, Joe Catania, the purpose-built facility will add to the company's capacity and further reinforces its position as Australia's largest independent parcel delivery companies.
"We have the largest network and are in places the big three [parcel delivery companies] aren’t," said Catania.
"We're the only parcel delivery business with company-owned and operated offices in Bega, Nowra, Cairns and Alice Springs, and we welcome Direct Freight Express Gosford to our National distribution network.
"We've invested in purpose built terminals with the added smarts of automated sorting systems allow us to take on additional capacity if required. More importantly allows us to be the best service provider in the road express sector.
"We'll be rolling out this infrastructure and technology in many regional company depots which will further improve our package handling efficiency but more importantly keep our customers coming back. "
Direct Freight Express Gosford is located at 57 Somersby Falls Rd, Somersby NSW 2250.
