On Wednesday, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said that the first civil contract of the Phase IV network has been awarded for construction of a segment of the Janakpuri West-R.K. Ashram Marg corridor.
The corridor is set to be an extension of the existing Magenta Line, which connects Janakpuri West and Botanical Garden.
A DMRC official said that “The contract includes the construction of a portion of the Janakpuri West-R.K. Ashram Marg corridor with 10 stations, including Keshopur, Paschim Vihar, Peeragarhi, Mangolpuri, West Enclave, Pushpanjali, Deepali Chowk, Madhuban Chowk, Prashant Vihar, and North Pitampura”.
