It's been a rough year for workers and commuters around the Sydney CBD area, with extensive construction done as a part of the light rail project.
However, pictures have emerged of what's going on behind all the fences and noise, with a glimpse given into the new lines that have been constructed.
As you can see from the tweet below, the work outside the QVB is well underway.
Some parts of the project around Sydney are expected to be open around Christmas.
