Sydney train passengers have intervened after a man allegedly indecently assaulted a woman on a city-bound train from Hurstville.
Police arrested a 29-year-old man at Central train station, allegedly finding methylamphetamine during a body search, after a 28-year-old woman suffered bruising to her head and arms in an assault about 6.45pm on Thursday.
The man was charged with inflicting actual bodily harm with intent to have sexual intercourse and possessing a prohibited drug and refused bail to appear at Central Local Court on Friday.
