Preparations for the Inland Rail Link in our region have taken a big step forward, with feasability design contracts awarded for the Tottenham to Illabo and Stockinbingal to Parkes and Narromine sections of the project.
Kellogg Brown and Root have been awarded a $6 million contract for the Tottenham to Illabo section, Lycopoduim Infrastructure will get the $500,000 Stockinbingal to Parkes contract, while WSP and Mott MacDonald have the $10 million Parkes to Narromine section.
Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Darren Chester says Inland Rail will stimulate significant development, investment and innovation opportunities for the region.
