There are plans for camps to house workers building the inland rail line through the Goondiwindi region.
Construction on the inland rail route is expected to start next year and workers camps are proposed for outside of Yelarbon and Inglewood.
Goondiwindi Mayor, Lawrence Springborg explains to David Iliffe and Belinda Sanders why it's important the workers camps also leave a positive legacy for the community.
