Leonardo has been employed in the rail industry since 2015, following graduation from George Brown College, Toronto, with a degree in Human Resource Management. She began her career while at George Brown as a Document Control Administrator at PNR Railworks. Following a position as a Coordinator at WSP
MMM Group, she returned to PNR Railworks as a Junior Project Coordinator.
After one year, Leonardo was promoted to Project Coordinator for PNR’s USRC (Union Station Rail Corridor) Project in Toronto, a design-build contract that involved upgrading and replacing a legacy signaling system, including signals, track circuits and cables, and installing new solid state interlockings and control equipment. Her primary responsibilities included financial reporting, material/subcontractor procurement, material tracking and contract administration.
“Colleen brings a depth of industry expertise and will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and creating custom solutions for our diverse customer base,” said RECo Vice President Joseph Ashley. “We have growth opportunities in the region, and we knew we needed to add to our sales resources. Colleen was the ideal candidate for the position as she is skilled in customer service and project management specific to the rail industry. She has a proven track record of success in sales and support within the rail industry.”
