V/Line services are resuming on the Bendigo line again this morning after a signal fault forced the suspension of trains.
V/Line issued a statement at 7.14am saying the disruption on the suburban network had been cleared and trains were resuming on the Bendigo line.
Further residual delays and some cancellations are expected as V/Line continues to recover from the delay.
The signal fault was in the metropolitan area, affecting trains between Watergardens and Footscray.
Some coach services were put in place while the trains were suspended, but major disruptions were felt on the Bendigo line.
