A MAN has been charged with the sexual assault of a woman at Melbourne Central Railway Station.
A 27-year-old woman was assaulted at a platform of the station on September 4 about 7.20am.
The attacker fled. Police on Tuesday arrested a 36-year-old Carlton man.
He has been charged with sexual assault.
The man was bailed to face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on October 6.
Police are investigating to see if there were any further incidents, a Victoria Police spokesman said.
