A man has been hit and killed by a freight train in Perth's south.
The 65-year-old was struck near the intersection of Rockingham Road and Spearwood Avenue in Spearwood about 7.15pm on Thursday.
Police said the train was slowing when the man was hit. Passersby tried to help him but he died at the scene.
