The ABC is reporting
The power is turned off to parts of Sydney's train network and there are "major delays" on every line except for one amid a police operation at Redfern Station.
At Milsons Point, city-bound commuters were advised to walk over the Harbour Bridge, while the Transport Management Centre confirmed some services had been delayed for over an hour.
In a tweet, Sydney Trains confirmed the police operation was "ongoing" and there was "no forecast" for services resuming in the area. In a statement, Sydney Trains said there was a "trespasser" at Redfern, which is among the Harbour City's busiest stations. The ABC understands there is no threat to people at Redfern Station.
A major police operation is currently underway with many train services disrupted.
