Kalgoorlie Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding a man being struck by a freight train in the early hours of this morning, Sunday 10 January 2021.
About 4.45am, a west bound interstate freight train ran over a man who is believed to have been sleeping on railway tracks near the Kalgoorlie train station.
The 42-year-old man received serious head injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to Kalgoorlie Hospital.
