A PASSENGER rail lobby group has vowed to ramp up pressure on political parties in the coming months for the return of Mildura services after staging a rally in Donald at the weekend.
NorthWest Rail Alliance (NWRA) president Christian Mitchell said the group would make the most of significant upcoming dates for Mildura passenger rail.
The man responsible for cutting Mildura’s services almost 25 years ago, former Victorian premier Jeff Kennett, will visit the region this month for the Great Australian Vanilla Slice Triumph.
