The ALP's Lisa Chesters pledged tens of millions of dollars for projects across the Bendigo electorate.
The Liberals did not promise any Bendigo-specific funding during the election.
Ms Chesters hoped the incoming government would adopt her plans for nearly $30 million worth of projects.
They included $4.4 million to expand Bendigo Airport's terminal, $2 million for a proposed hub to research road trauma and nearly $1 million for Bendigo showgrounds upgrades.
"That will be one of the first letters that I write to whoever their regional development minister is," Ms Chesters said.
Labor election commitments
It was still unclear who would become regional development minister in the incoming government.
"It's going to take a campaign, but we have been here before," Ms Chesters said.
She also pledged to work with community groups to help them secure any funding the new government made available.
