Statement from Ixion Model Railways Ltd
Start your weekend by perusing our latest batch of featured scenes and projects. There’s a lot of wonderful modeling going on in these first days of 2021. Be sure to share your own work on our social media pages by clicking on the links below.
An ore train barreling along the CNW main passes the Soo Line interchange on John Mueller’s exceptional HO scale Chicago & North Western-themed layout. A vintage truck loaded with logs helps set the scene in the steam-to-diesel transition era.
Morgan Davis has been busy detailing rooms for the McGurdy Hotel that’s to be installed on the layout of the Naptown & White River Model Railroad Club in Indianapolis. Some rooms will even get interior lighting that will automatically turn on or off via a sequencer.
Late Night Take-Out
A favorite Chinese restaurant stays open late in this neighborhood. Working streetlights and traffic signals help set the mood in this urban scene modeled by poster @the_nj_transit_.
We hope you enjoy these scenes and discussions as much as we enjoy bringing them to you!
