OPPONENTS of the planned Inland Rail route across the agriculturally important Condamine River floodplain are creating a Facebook page providing a template for all community members to respond to the draft environmental impact statement.
Millmerran Rail Group chair Wes Judd said community members needed to be informed and to make a submission if they had an issue or questions about the draft EIS.
Construction of the the $1.4 billion, 216km Border to Gowrie section of the project is expected begin next year, to be completed in 2026.
Landholders maintain the proposed construction of the track on the Condamine River floodplain will exacerbate flooding.
