A train derailed in Boone after an engine failed to stop, partially blocking the road,
An engine at Landus Cooperative, 1095 T Ave, Boone, went into the road after failing to stop at a third line track, according to the Boone Sheriff's Office. The train partially blocked IA 17 near 210th Street.
There were no injuries and Union Pacific continued to run.
