Farm lobby groups are ramping up pressure on the New South Wales Government to fix dilapidated country rail lines.
Four key regional branch lines have already closed, forcing hundreds of thousands of tonnes of grain onto trucks this harvest.
After a rally in the tiny town of Baradine yesterday, the New South Wales Farmers Association and Grain Growers Associations have joined forces to demand the State Government upgrade the lines.
They say money has previously been committed but never spent.
