The following set of photos were taken on Saturday the 21/3/20 with unloading almost complete of the CHIPOL DONGHAI it's shipment of hopper wagons destined for coal service in Central Queensland with One Rail, formerly known as Genesee & Wyoming Australia. The vessel took about 15 days to reach Gladstone from Dalian in China with a reported cargo weight of 2984 ton. It would seem that it has delivered enough wagons to form one coal set of 3 locos transported by road to Maryborough from Western Australia and 126 wagons.The unloading process I observed had the locos lifted out of the hold of the ship and placed onto a truck trailer and taken a short distance to the rail loading pad where a reach stacker was lifting the wagons off the trailer and placing them on the rails. It looks like most of the wagons were placed on the hard stand over night to speed up unloading.
In the top right of the photo you can see the wagons stored on the hard stand, the wagons on the rails have come directly from the ship via a truck. The master and slave wagons are linked via a solid draw bar in the place of auto couplers. Usually the Pacific National shunt occupies the loading pad but has been stored in the former line leading to the grain silos. The line leading off to the right goes to the loading pad. In the background Grain Corp hoppers are stored on Queensland Rail tracks that are now used to access the grain silos. They weren't there two days previously.

Wagon 01452 was the first to get the One Rail logo applied and also one of the few to get one.
This next series of photos below were taken the morning of the 23/3/20 on my way home from work on a series of wagons stored in Auckland Point yard.
The loco is heading to Gladstone Station Yard where it can access the tracks to the right of the old goods shed in the top right of the photo. The blue container wagons in the shot belong to Pacific National.
The train is now reversing towards Auckland Point yard at Gladstone station.
Behind the rear of the loco is the track leading to where it came from in the previous photos. The was a bit more concern about the track on this sharp curve as well on the 24/3/20 as wagon recovery continued.

The wagons have been pushed past the old good shed area where the Locos are being staged and are now in Auckland Point yard.
