The P2 Steam Locomotive Company has announced that P2 No. 2007 Prince of Wales has had its wheels delivered for its tender.
The tender wheels have been delivered after being manufactured by South Devon Railway Engineering Ltd.
The next step for the wheels now includes having roller bearings fitted, after which, they will be sent for balancing.
The tender is a major part in the construction of this P2, it will hold both coal and water when the locomotive is running on the mainline and at heritage railways.
The aim is to have the P2 ready for 2021, can you help this dream become a reality? You can donate by clicking here.
