OPP are continuing to investigate the death of a pedestrian killed by a Via Rail passenger train in Ingersoll on Friday.
Police say the incident happened on Friday evening in the area of Mckeand Street in Ingersoll. The train was travelling westbound at the time of the collision.
The lone pedestrian died at the scene as a result of injuries from the collision. Police are withholding the identity of the deceased until next of kin are notified.
