German police have helped Metro Trains track down an alleged serial vandal wanted over at least 10 incidents across Melbourne's train network.
The 21-year-old German national is accused of going on a vandalism spree over the past two months with multiple trains damaged at various locations.
Peter James Lorenzen was arrested yesterday afternoon and has been remanded in custody to appear in court his morning.
The arrest by Transit Police comes amid a crackdown on vandals who cause delays and service cancellations on the rail network.
