The views of commercial property developers are likely to be sought for ongoing discussions on the future of Mount Gambier's rail lands precinct.
The director of corporate and community services, Grant Humphries, says a recommendation will be made at tonight's council meeting to gain input from the commercial sector.
It follows the completion of the first phase of public consultation.
"We've probably got to remember that council hasn't made any final decision in this regard at the moment and really are still in an ongoing fact finding information gathering sort of process," Mr Humphries said.
"So I would imagine that once council gets down the path a little further, there may be further public consultation in terms of future concepts."
