'We're talking to a number of players but we're very pleased with targets to build up to nearly 40,000sq metres of warehousing,' Qube Managing Director Maurice James told Sky Business' Ticky Fullerton.
At the moment that land is owned in part by Qube and in part the Federal Government, but there were suggestions in the Australian Newspaper that the Government might be putting its land up for sale.
'There may be a confusion as to the value of the project and the value of the Commonwealth's land in the project.'
'We'd be interested in acquiring it if the Commonwealth was keen to sell. It would certainly be easier for delivery,' Mr James said.
