Commuters should expect widespread delays across the rail network this morning, following power outages at Roma Street Station thanks to a possum tripping overhead wires on all but two lines.Queensland Rail has warned of 15 minute delays despite trains being resumed on a reduced number of tracks at 6:30am.
“This is causing congestion and significant delays,” the organisation said in a Facebook post.
“Our crews are onsite. We will provide an update with more information soon and are online and available to assist.
“We apologise for any inconvenience and thank customers for their patience as we work to rectify the issue.”
