London North Eastern Railway (LNER) will begin operating a reservations only train service from Monday 18th May 2020.
This restriction will be in operation until further notice.
This approach by the operator means that anyone needing to travel with LNER will require a reservation before boarding.
Therefore, LNER will be able to manage the numbers of passengers on each train to enable them to comply with social distancing requirements.

Passengers will either receive a reservation at the time of booking or, they will be able to speak to staff from Monday morning if they have a season ticket.
Anyone with a reservation already should ignore the reservation details and choose a seat to make sure social distancing is possible.
