Tornado Railtours have posted an update regarding COVID-19, with plans underway to hopefully see No.60163 “Tornado” return to mainline tours later this year.
Although at the planning stage and subject to change, four railtours have been pencilled in for September 2020. These are:
60163 Tornado at NRM York // Credit Railview, Cameron White
Tours which go ahead will see social distancing and other safety measures in place, such as reduced passenger numbers, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn by staff and increased cleaning onboard the train.
Tornado Railtours are doing their best to reschedule people who were booked on tours postponed due to COVID-19 to new dates in 2020 where possible.
