Abellio Rail Baden-Württemberg (ABRB) will return to the regular timetable on the Neckar Valley network from June 14.
A special timetable with limited services was introduced in mid-March, with this gradually increased on May 4 and 18.
Services on the Enztäler Radexpress (RB 17a) on Sundays and public holidays will resume from Sunday, along with weekend night services on lines RB 17a and RB 18. The remaining services on RE 10 between Stuttgart main station and Heilbronn main station, which are operated by DB Regio on behalf of Abellio, will also restart.
Germany still has a nation wide obligation for passenger to wear a face mask on public transport and when shopping.
Czech Republic: Czech Railways (CD) will further lift restrictions put in place to combat the coronavirus between June 14 -16.
Austrian Federal Railway (ÖBB) Railjet services to Vienna and Graz will resume, while the number of services to Berlin will increase. Cross-border services to Germany and Austria will also be reinstated.
CD’s Pendolino connections between Prague and Ostrava, and the remaining Southern Express trains to České Budějovice and Linz, Austria, and the Western Express services between Prague and Pilsen will also return to the normal timetable.
Finland: VR will resume some passenger services from June 15, in response to an increase in passenger numbers, and reintroduce overnight and motor rail services. This will increase the number of connections available from around 50% of the regular timetable to 85%.
In addition to Helsinki to Tampere and Turku, services will be increased to Kuopio, Jyväskylä and Kajaani. In the Ostrobothnia region, services in Oulu, Kokkola, Seinäjoki and Vaasa will increase. The return of overnight services will also reconnect Kemijärvi and Kolari to the network.
Poland: PKP Intercity reintroduced Pendolino services on June 10 and 11, allowing rail travel beween Gdynia – Krakow – Rzeszów, Warsaw – Wrocław and Krakow – Gliwice.
More than 100 services have resumed since the beginning of May.
