On 28th October Seymour Railway Heritage Centre will be running there first public Standard Gauge heritage train tour to Albury travelling behind recently restored P22 in a unfamiliar livery and T357.
The border town of Albury blends country pace and city lifestyle with its offerings of historical buildings, cultural events, vibrant shopping precincts and tree-lined gardens.
P22 recently was painted blue and gold, a first for the P Class locomotive. The train will have limited seating and will consist of 1937 former Spirit of Progress S Class Compartment style Carriages.
A kiosk will be on board serving hot and cold food, hot drinks, beer, wine and soft drinks. Our caterers Taste on Track have a fantastic dinner box for all bookings.
Join us on a historic trip to Albury and help us celebrate our first public heritage train on Standard Gauge.
More details at http://www.srhc.org.au. Very limited seats.
