Southern Shorthaul Railroad has recently acquired two new GT46-ACe locomotives from the Downer Group to cater for continuing business growth.
Locomotives SSR101 and SSR102 represent the last two EMD powered locomotives to be built here in Australia by Downer.
The two SSR Class locomotives are utilised on grain services, and can be seen here working a Westons grain train between Tahmoor and Picton on Saturday 14 February 2015.
