The Australian Open will also be affected by tram strikes next Tuesday and Thursday.
The fight over pay and conditions has been raging for a year.
Shadow industrial relations minister Nick Wakeling is accussing Public Transport Minister Melissa Horn of being missing in action.
"The Government to date, has sat on it's hands and it is simply not good enough," he said.
"The union themselves have been pleading for the government to intervene to show leadership to try to bring this problem to a head."
