Yarra Trams will join with six new community organisations for 2021 Yarra Trams Community Partnerships Program. The organisations who are doing great work in sustainability will received a share in-kind advertising on Melbourne’s tram network.
The six new community partners are Birdlife Australia, Environment Victoria, Fairtrade Australia and New Zealand, Planet Ark, Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria and Wildlife Victoria. These partners will deliver important messages about sustainability through trams on the network.
For 2021, the program has a new theme “A more sustainable Melbourne”. This reflects Yarra Trams’ increased commitment to sustainability across the tram network.
“I am pleased to welcome our 2021 community partners. This program helps to support those organisations doing important work in the community,” Julien Dehornoy, CEO Yarra Trams said.
“The calibre of these organisations and their campaigns will ensure that throughout the year we will support important messages about sustainability.”
Each community partner will receive three months advertising on the tram network through a tram wrap.
The first tram advertising is set to go live on the network in December 2020.
