SOCIAL media community pages have gone into overdrive, with the search for missing Sydney woman Erin Duffy.
Police are appealing for information into the whereabouts of Ms Duffy, 49, who was last seen on December 18, three hours north of Sydney in East Maitland.
Ms Duffy is an intercity train guard with NSW TrainLink but was not on duty when she disappeared.
Erin has been missing since Sunday.Her family and friends haven’t heard from her since Sunday.
“NSW TrainLink is assisting police with their efforts to locate Erin,” a NSW TrainLink spokesman said.
“All of her colleagues are very concerned for her welfare and we are doing everything we can to help find Erin and support her family.”
Ms Duffy is described as being of caucasian appearance, with dark brown hair and hazel eyes.
She is described as being of a medium build.
