PEOPLE CATCHING THE TRAIN TO WORK OR TO THE AIRPORT ACROSS THE T2 AND T3 NETWORKS IN SYDNEY THIS MORNING ARE BEING TOLD TO ALLOW PLENTY OF EXTRA TRAVEL TIME FOLLOWING ISSUES AT WYNYARD STATION.
Overheard wiring issues are believed to be the cause for train cancellations and delays on the rail services across south-west, western and southern Sydney, according to 7 News.
Some services are reportedly skipping train stations. The train lines impacted include Leppington, Macarthur, airport line, Bankstown and inner west trains.
Sydney Trains have reported on Twitter that the urgent track equipment repairs are now complete, however, flow-on delays are still expected.
Commuters are being advices to use real-time applications to check the status of their service.
