The Locomotive Division wishes to advise members of the positive outcome to an outstanding dispute regarding non-payment of extra kilometres on altered working.
This dispute arose at Penrith Depot after Sydney Trains ceased paying extra kilometre claims on particular jobs.
Following investigation, Sydney Trains admitted that these altered diagrams were in fact the actual working for the day and an error had been made in the printing of the diagram book. It was discovered that similar mistakes were present in the diagram books for three other depots.
A total of 7 incorrect diagrams were identified. The affected diagrams were Monday to Thursday jobs in place between 24 June 2018 and 30 September 2018 and are listed below:
