The Bahamas Locomotive Society has announced that the second test run for 45596 Bahamas has been postponed.
Mainline testing began for the locomotive last week during successful light engine testing between Tyseley and Bordesley before hauling its BLS support coach from Tyseley to Stratford-upon-Avon and back.
A few teething issues were found in the test run, which lead to the test run on 17th January 2019 being cancelled.
However, no reason has been given for this cancellation yet by the Bahamas Locomotive Society.
This may mean a further delay in the engine returning to the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.
No confirmed loaded test run has been announced yet, but please keep an eye on our locomotive movements and test run page for up to date information.
