Yesterday was the 2019 GTE in Albany. A heavy snowstorm was in the forecast, but we headed down early and left before the snow.
While waiting to get in (100’s of people in line) I saw the “roaming railroad”
When we finally got in, the first thing we saw was the Albany Free-Mo layout.
That’s a big switcher.
The Hudson Lego Train Club’s layout. Kids could build objects out of lego, and then put it on the layout.
They also had a cool Star Wars diorama.
There was a lot of people, but not as many as usual, due to it being Thanksgiving weekend, and the oncoming snowstorm.
This year, the Albany N-trak club brought there T-Trak layout.
Another layout I have never seen before is this logging layout I never caught the name of.
I guess some people like the trucks more than the trains…
