Statement from Ixion Model Railways Ltd
I've hit a rater frustrating period of inactivity on my layout construction because after reaching my goal of having what I consider "base level scenery" over the entire pike, I can't seem to get going on details. I'm just not finding the inspiration I need and I don't know why. The two big areas that I want to get going on are pictured below.
I'm trying to do this on a shoestring budget but I loathe the idea of painting figures and/or details. I did buy a "watch parts" assortment from Micro Mark but other than that, I don't have much of a "junk box". I know there are some common household things like scraps of foil and paper or pieces of wood that I can use but if anyone has any other suggestions, they'd be greatly appreciated. Inspiration is also welcome. I have got to do something to get over this hump!
