So, the results are in from testing the STS program I posted on previously. Although the system does what it states it does, and prints out realistic looking waybills and good looking car cards, the amount of computer time to input everything is quite time consuming, even for a fairly small layout such as mine. I’d hate to have to input all this data for a basement size layout with say three or four hundred pieces of rolling stock.
I only used the waybills and switchlists from this program, and again, they look pretty realistic I must say. I think going forward however I’ll plan to print copies of my PC industries switchlist from my collection, and simply hand write the information in. Photo below of this switchlist:
