Buses will again take the place of trains between Geelong and Warrnambool tomorrow. V/Line says crews will be conducting track improvement works. All services from Melbourne to Geelong will operate as coaches, and passengers will also have to transfer to a coach for services to Waurn Ponds and Warrnambool. Drivers are also being warned of road closures across the region this weekend. Sunday's Ironman 70.3 event will see Geelong's waterfront and Eastern Park closed to traffic, along with Portarlington Road between Geelong and Drysdale, Bellarine-bound. A full list of road closures is available here.
