Whether you’re travelling to reconnect with friends and family, enjoy a much-needed family holiday, take a city break, or explore a new destination, now is the ideal time to travel by rail to your best Queensland experience.
From 13 June 2020, returning timetables will commence across our network from key dates please be advised that our capacity limits have been reduced to support social distancing.
Saturday 13 June 2020Return to normal schedules with social distancing for all Electric Tilt Trains (Rockhampton – Brisbane; Bundaberg – Brisbane) and Spirit of Queensland (Brisbane – Cairns) services:
Weekend return service for Kuranda Scenic Railway with social distancing on Saturday 13 June and Sunday 14 June; and Saturday 20 June and Sunday 21 June.
Wednesday 17 June 2020Return to normal schedules with social distancing for the Gulflander (Normanton – Croydon).
Tuesday 23 June 2020Return to normal schedules with social distancing for the Spirit of the Outback (Brisbane – Longreach – Brisbane).
Saturday 27 June 2020Return to normal schedules with social distancing for Kuranda Scenic Railway.
One return service per week with social distancing for Westlander (Brisbane – Charleville – Brisbane); Eastbound Tuesdays, Eastbound Wednesdays
One return service per week with social distancing for Inlander (Townsville – Mount Isa – Townsville); Westbound Wednesday, Eastbound Thursdays
Saturday 19 September 2020Return to normal schedules with social distancing for the Westlander (Brisbane – Charleville – Brisbane) and Inlander (Townsville – Mount Isa – Townsville).
