A woman was struck and killed by a Metro B (Red) Line train Tuesday near the Hollywood/Vine station platform.
The train struck the woman at about 4:15 p.m. at the station near the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Argyle Avenue, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Service on the B Line was disrupted, as northbound trains turned back to Union Station at Vermont/Santa Monica station following the death.
No further information about the victim was immediately available.
