YARRA Trams is altering its Christmas celebrations for staff this year — after a 2017 event featured an indecently clad “fat-o-gram”.
It has rebranded its annual festive season party into a “thank you” event open to all employees.
Yarra Trams spokesman Simon Murphy said: “It was previously called a family day. We have changed the name based on feedback from employees without partners or children who weren’t sure if they were invited.”

Workers were stood down in January after two formal complaints were made about a depot’s social club party.
One staff member ordered the oversized “stripper”, angering some colleagues present and sparking a formal inquiry.
Yarra Trams will ensure Santa is in attendance this year to hand out gifts to the children of staff at the official party.
But he will be the only well-rounded special guest — and naturally he will be fully dressed, in his traditional red and white.
