NPZH 35660P is seen being shunted about at Moss Vale.
NPZH wagons began life as CHS coal hoppers, built by various builders for use in the NSW Hunter Valley coal traffic. Long since superceded by more modern coal hoppers, a number of wagons have seen use in other bulk traffic in NSW, such as limestone and quarry stone. NPZH wagons were recoded from their earlier NHGF code when fitted with pneumatic discharge doors to enable them to be used for Boral stone and gravel traffic between Dunmore and Sydney. Some NPZH wagons are also in use for Blue Circle limestone traffic between Medway and Berrima/Maldon, as the wagon pictured above is.
